The annual Chief’s Breakfast was held at the Mission Inn to a sold out crowd. Foundation Board Member Virginia Blumenthal was the MC for the fundraising event. The Riverside Police Foundation hosts the breakfast to provide Chief Sergio Diaz the opportunity to provide status updates and to raise awareness, and funds, for the Foundation’s many youth programs.

This year Chief Diaz also used the event to give special thanks to the two Riverside citizens who acted courageously at the ambush that took the life of Officer Michael Crain and seriously wounded his partner, Officer Tachias.
